At least three people were feared dead as unknown gunmen attacked senator Dino Melaye, in front of the Kogi state polytechnic, Lokoja. According to reports, the senator representing Kogi west senatorial district, Melaye had stopped in front of the school where he addressed his supporters, including some students of the school over the political crisis in the senatorial district.
